January 5, 2019 will be the last date to register for the 4th edition of Tata Steel Bhubaneswar Half Marathon, scheduled to be held at Kalinga Sports Complex here on January 13, 2019. However, there will be a maximum of 5,000 registrations and enrolment will happen on a first come first serve basis.
Jointly organized by steel behemoth Tata Steel and the Sports & Youth Services Department of Odisha Government, Tata Steel Bhubaneswar Half Marathon will have three competitive races – 21.097 km (Half Marathon) for men and women of 18 years and above, 10 km for men and women of 15 years and above; and 5 km for boys and girls in the age group of 12-16 years.

The registration fees for half marathon is Rs 300, for 10 km run is Rs 200 and for 5 km run is Rs 100. Participants will get a T-shirt, an information leaflet, a unique BIB number and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chip.
The marathon will be conducted as per international standards, equipped with state-of-the-art technology consisting of Timing Mats and its control units, RFID chips, split timing mats on route, tracking camera and Wi-Fi network on route to follow world-class standards.
