Water purifier major Kent RO Systems Ltd aims at increasing its revenue to Rs 950 crore in the current financial year (FY 2018-19) from Rs 850 crore garnered in FY 2017-18.
Speaking at the launch of its new range of ‘Next Generation RO Purifiers’, Kent RO Systems Chairman Mahesh Gupta said, “The company is targeting 15 per cent growth during the current financial year, and a turnover of more than Rs 950 crore as its five-lakh-unit-capacity Noida manufacturing plant is going to be inaugurated on September 24.”
“Production at the new plant in Noida, set up at an investment of Rs 115 crore, has already started though it will be formally inaugurated on September 24. We aim to achieve the full capacity of the plant by 2021-22”, added Gupta.
Exports contributed Rs 20 crore to its overall business last fiscal. This year, the company expects the figure to rise to Rs 30 crore, Gupta further stated.
Gupta said Odisha is an important market for its business, and it contributes around 6 percent to its pan-India business.
Kent RO Systems today launched its Next Gen RO Water Purifiers in Odisha market. These water purifiers are equipped with UV protection and real-time digital display of purity such as filter life and mineral content in purified water.
Kent has added an additional layer of security in the form of UV-LED protection in the storage tank of the newly launched water purifier which ensures that purified water does not get re-infected by external impurities and stays 100 per cent pure for longer duration.
